Summertime when the nights are warm,
and the bugs swarm.
Summertime when kids are free to do as they please
and be who they want to be.
Summertime when people become more tan
and its so hot you need a fan.
Summertime when people are by the fire,
to say you don't make smores would make you a liar.
Summertime when life begins to change
and freedom has a wider range.
